New home for the festival
In 1999, the festival site moved to Liverpool with the festival now on the old Liverpool Airfield. The move put the festival closer to its parent night club and the new site was able to hold more people for the festival, boasting double the capacity in line with strong demand. This years festival impressed fans again with performances from Pet Shop Boys and Basement Jaxx.
