2002 – The all new Live Outdoor Stage

In 2002, the festival made a triumphant return to Liverpool, Merseyside again hosted in their Liverpool Airfield home. The lineup showcased performances by infamous artists Faithless, Underworld, Kosheen. This year, the introduction of the impressive Live Outdoor Stage, set against the picturesque Liverpool waterfront with a breathtaking rainbow as its backdrop.

In 2002, the Cream nightclub stopped the weekly club night and the building was eventually demolished in 2016, however the brand continued to run the festival and other events in both the UK and around the world.
