This year the festival took place over 4 days for the first time and boasted headline artists: Armin van Buuren, Chase & Status, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Axwell Λ Ingrosso, Avicii, Martin Garrix, Calvin Harris
In 2016, the festival also revealed its most ambitious production concept to date by introducing the Steel Yard superstructure. After 12 months of planning and exclusive construction for Creamfields, the Steel Yard became the first and largest structure of its kind in Europe. With a capacity of 20,000 and standing at 20 meters high, this colossal creation redefined festival production as we know it.
